DAY ONE
We made it across on the hoverspeed and just about remembered to drive on the right...Spent a night in a little campsite near Arras and felt quite organised with our awning up and roof tent pitched. Unfortunately this didn't last long as we had thunderstorms all night which collapsed the awning, broke a pole and we were rather soggy!

Still raining, we decided to cheer ourselves up the next day when we stopped for a seven course gastronic Sunday lunch in Bavay, close to the Belgian border.
