Been such a busy week started with another waterpark trip where the kid next to me was violently sick all over the bus! But we managed to bring everyone back in one piece and kept the arguments about what ride we were going on next to a minimum! My co is driving me mental she can't handle the kids and I'm getting scared to leave them alone after the stories they tell me when I'm gone! One my day off this week I decided to stay at camp because we were going to the fare the next day and she must have not known and just let one of the kids sleep in my bed! Like what?! Who does that?! When would that ever be ok! I was even more annoyed when they told me she said it was ok as long as they never told me! Red flag red flag! Apart from attempting to move a sleeping 10 year old out of my bed at 1 in the morning my day off was pretty boring we went to a diner and then bowling there were only 3 of us and one I can't really stand but he has a car and so is our only way out of camp! Then we came back, set up the projector in the basement and watched inside out! The fare was a very cultural experience indeed! From the deep fried Oreos to the pig racing! Izzo gave all the staff fare bingo to make it a bit more interesting! So we would have to look out for things such a double denim warrior, a family all in tye dye and a racist baby! Which was a lot easier to find than I thought! The pig I bet on: Kim kardishiHAM won which obviously made my day! I also finally got my Womack challenge which was to be the most American by the end of the day, I did pretty well with the awesome shirt the kids found me it had an eagle, a flag , monster trucks and those rocks with the faces! I practicing my American acent all day and was sure I had it on the bag with my red white and blue glow sticks! But Euan by competitor from Scotland went all out getting all his kids holding a USA flag, singing the national anthem and finally having a cardboard eagle come and land on his shoulder... End of the week was pretty sad and ended with banquet, closing campfire and a candle lit ceremony which is another one of those dangerous traditions which should probably by abolished now and involved kids walking through the woods to chapel in pitch black holding fire! But was nice under the stars when we eventually got there and everyone stood up and spoke about how camp changed their lives blah blah blah! Finally performed the play despite Wendy dropping out 24 hours before the show! Everyone said it was awesome but I just can't tell anymore after hearing it well over 200 times! This summer has gone so quick can't believe there's only one week left!
