Spent on day on the coast, where all the big resorts are.

Took a local bus for 3500rupah about 23p over to the resort place.

The public transport in Bali is awful as all the locals have their own transport so they don't need it out here which is annoying when backpacking.

Have to say it was lovely but can just imagine the price per night; I did look it up and found the cheapest one at about £75 per night. But the beach was lovely and white however was very windy so swimming could be dangerous as I found out when I went for a dip, there was a strong undercurrent as well as waves, so I got out pretty quickly…:D
