Decided to leave Quito behind and head to the border, took a bus that cost five dollars and was only a 5 hour journey.

The scenery was amazing, driving around the mountains and there were some pretty steep drops at various points.

The scenery reminded me a lot of New Zealand, just the greenery and the mountains.

Managed to get to the border only to find a queue of bloody kids everywhere, so what should have been a quick border crossing to get out of Ecuador ended up taking about three hours!! Fantastic!!
