Business Mind!! Today I woke again early but with a head full of ideas of what I might do in the future. I did a quick workout and then made my way downstairs for my fried eggs and baguette - I don't usually eat bread due to my gluten intolerance but by taking the centre out of the baguettes and just eating the crust with the egg seems to give me no troubles. After breakfast I was going to have a sleep-in but decided a better use of my time and clear thinking could be used on writing. Around mid-morning I headed off on a mission to find the big local market just outside of the city; unfortunately I walked for miles and after asking countless people gave up on the idea and headed back to the city. I found myself back at the central market both thirsty and hungry so I brought some 20 cent palm juice and then sat down for a delicious lunch of spring rolls, fish and salad. The fish came with a delicious little bag of mango salad and vinegar that really amplified the taste. It was then back to souvenir shopping and looking for a singlet for myself. After a few more hours I was shopped out and decided to head back to the hostel and relax a bit. In the evening I did a run into the city for dinner and found this lady making papaya salad on the side of the road so I had her prepare me some and then on the walk back I found this old couple BBQing pieces of duck over a wood fire - so I also ordered up a piece of the duck. What a feast it was with a fresh papaya salad along with roast duck glazed in a sweet sause all for about $2.50.
