Day 2 Bodyguard.

Next the Coptic church built over 1 AD roman tower (hanging church due to Nile flood - had a 700 m escape tunnel from roman persecution. Egyptian Madonna. Next the Jewish synagogue in the old quarter (Coptic quarter). All the oldest of each Egypt. Bodyguard following everywhere. Buffet lunch at the soirée . To the bazaar - Mamoud prayed while Mohammed accompanied us through the bazaar. No risk but very very congested. Inner city a jumble of dusty buildings, rubble and rubbish.
