Wild Camp on the Kazakhstan Border to Almati
Up early to prepare breakfast to have the unpleasant sight of Col in riding jacket underpants and moto x boots digging out his rain gear - charming. After clearing up a short ride to the XXXX canyon where Ewan and Charlie go stuck. The ride was five or six miles off road down a sandy and loose gravel track Jonathan hit a loose patch of gravel and went down unfortunately with his leg stuck underneath his pannier apparently his foot was facing the opposite way from the rest of his body. Luckily he seems to have survived the crash with little more than a stiff leg and the bike aside from a few scratches also. To be honest the canyon was a bit boring we couldn't find a sensible way down so eventually we gave in and set sail for Almati. The ride was uneventful except that the bike has now done 230 miles on a single tank of fuel and I still don't have the fuel warning light on. Tied one on in the Rock Bar opposite the hotel think we got ripped off on the bill but not sober enough to figure it out.
