Travelling day so up early to go to the airport. As we tried to leave the hotel the receptionist asked us if we meant to leave clothes. We said no and he produced David's underwear for us to take with us. After 2 taxi journeys which combined were longer than the flight we arrived in central KL. We set out to reminisce as we've been 3 times here before. The reminiscing was basically for the food. After pressing our noses against a couple of shop windows we went to the food court. Malaysia does do a good food court. Despite the many Asian delights on offer we had guacamole and a couple of curry pasties locally known as puffs. Then squelched through the monsoon to eye up restaurants and bars in a street of Chinese restaurants with eyes of stalks (no our eyes not a dish). Only problem so far is the price of the beer is not comparable to Vietnam. We got some happy hour drinks at £4 a pint and thought ourselves lucky - it's a Muslim country.
