Day 2 school. I had to wake up at 6:45!!!! But unfortunately I got woken up by a garbage truck collector at 6am (not kidding) and then couldn't get properly back to sleep. I had to walk to the bus stop and when I got in the bus you could not move a single muscle. The bus was so packed. I had to hold onto the door as there was no other spot to hold onto. When we went around the corner lots of times I was thinking 'don't fall don't fall don't fall' and luckily I didn't fall (but I accidentally hit people a few times) when I got to school the first lesson was English. So the English teacher got me to tell the class about myself and she asked me lots of questions. She gave us a work sheet and instead of doing English I did Italian! We had to name the body parts of a person so I used my dictionary to find the words. After English was Spanish. The teacher just talked and talked the whole lesson and I was getting so tired at this point (because I woke up at 6) I nearly fell asleep a few times. After Spanish was French and the teacher asked us who we were and where we visited in the holidays (I could actually do this!) and then we had a 25minute break. Break was very scary, walking down the stairs was crazy! There were so many people everywhere it was like a traffic jam! My classmates introduced me to their old English teacher who was very nice. She asked me if I knew Finding Nemo as the class watched it last year. When the break was over we had Latin. I didn't even know that schools taught Latin. When the day was over I walked to the bus stop again and thought I was lost a few times (it was okay I was in the right spot, I jut needed to turn left again!) and luckily the bus wasn't as crowed on the way back! When I arrived back home I ate lunch. We had chicken curry and it was so good!!!! After lunch I had a nap (never waking up at 6am again) and woke up later to do some Italian grammar. Michela dropped Massimo at the airport and we had some Italian meats and buffalo mozzarella (the best thing you will ever eat) with salad and pineapple for dinner.

Marjie Yay!!! I've been off line and just catching up with your blog...heartstrings pulling for you as you got nervous about school, tummy rumbling as you constantly rave about the food, and chest puffed proud of you for putting one foot infant of the other and trusting that every new experience - and you've got loads! - will go well. Nice Cobes - Nice! I also can't believe how many languages you're learning - your head must be spinning with them all. Certainly sheds a different light on how education can be. Much love Cobes - xoxo
