So süß !
Today I saw lots of marmots, a rainbow, climbed two mountains, walked for 25,8 km, and made 1759m in elevation.
Oh- and I saw the first snow . Winter is coming!
Tomorrow will be the longest day of the hike with 31,8 km and about 2000 m elevation. I hope, I will manage it.
Today I met a hiker, who walks the GR10 in the opposite direction and wants to do the whole trail in one go. He said that he started 10 days ago in Banyuls. I realized that I only have 5 days left to arrive there by Friday. It will be sportive.
Tonight I am staying in an other lovely gite: La Cavale. They also have horses here for renting. And the best thing is- a fireplace . This is the first evening since days that I am not freezing. It's really a cosy place and I even have a room for myself. We are only 5 guests in the gite: an English couple, hiking some bits of the GR10 and two French that are here for a long hiking weekend, because Monday is a Catholic-Catalan holiday.
We had a wonderful dinner with the best food ever (tomato salad, fried aubergines (chicken for the non-vegetarians), ratatouille, rice, fruit salad, and of course red wine that comes without asking on a French table) and great conversation, because they were all interesting nice people and we all spoke well enough English.

Daimon Walker Sounds very idyllic and cosy next to your fire. You're almost near the end. I wish you good hiking and kinder weather! So your phone is suicidal. Shame as the scenery sounds like it is epic.
