Experience St Lucia off the beaten path and in a brand new way – on a Segway tour! Enjoy a guided shore excursion along a 2-mile (3.2-km) circuit of nature trails, and learn about the indigenous flora and fauna that call St Lucia home. Then hop in a jeep for an off-road adventure to some of St Lucia's most-visited attractions before visiting Pigeon Island for some great swimming and snorkeling.
You'll be picked up at the cruise ship port in Castries and taken right to the heart of St Lucia's tourism capital, Rodney Bay Village. After a brief orientation on how to ride a Segway personal transporter, complete with safety information, snacks and local juices, you'll be brought over to the Segway track for your trial run on the amazing Segway X2.
Your group then "glides" on your own Segways through the entire 2-mile (3.2-km) trail system, stopping along the way to feed fish, enjoy tropical fruits and learn about the local flora and fauna. You'll also discover the incredible military history associated with the ruins of Mountt Pimard.
Next, hop aboard an open-back, six-wheel-drive jeep for an expertly guided “on- and off-road” adventure with stops in Gross Islet Village, Pigeon Island beach and the Cas-en-Bas east coast trail system. Then it's off to St Lucia’s most popular national landmark, Pigeon Island, for a walking tour of the ruins, a refreshment stop featuring local fruits and drinks, a guided snorkeling adventure and some free time for swimming on one of St Lucia’s premier beaches.
