From: £14.50

Duration: 1 day pass

Category: Sightseeing

Visit London's Kensington Palace, the former royal home of Queen Victoria and Princess Diana, and discover the secret and public lives of Kensington's past and present inhabitants with this skip-the-line pass. Make your way through the magnificent King’s and Queen’s State Apartments and the beautiful Palace Gardens. Visit three different exhibitions, including ‘Victoria Revealed,’ set within the rooms where Queen Victoria once lived. This exhibition explores her life and reign as wife, mother, queen and empress. Even better, by booking your ticket ahead of time, you'll get to jump the long entrance queues at no extra cost -- don't waste time waiting in lines on vacation!

London's Kensington Palace has been a royal home for over 300 years, and parts of the palace still remain a private residence for members of the Royal Family today. Following a major renovation project, the palace now unveils many secret stories of past royal figures, painting Kensington Palace as the setting for many noteworthy events and dramas in royal history. Make your way through the spectacular King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, adorned with paintings from the Royal Collection, and stroll through the Kensington Palace Gardens at your leisure.

Explore the new permanent exhibition, ‘Victoria Revealed,’ which is set within the rooms where Victoria grew up. Queen Victoria was born in the palace, and it was here that she learned she had become queen at just 18 years of age. She also held her first Privy Council meeting in Kensington Palace’s Red Saloon. Inspired by her own journals and featuring displays of personal objects, ‘Victoria Revealed’ gives an intimate account of Queen Victoria, exploring her life and reign through her own words.

In addition, the exhibition, ‘Diana: Glimpses of a Modern Princess,’ displays dresses worn by Princess Diana, including items that have never before been shown in the UK. This display runs until September 2, 2012. Running from May 24 to October 31, 2012, the temporary ‘Jubilee - A View from the Crowd’ exhibition will display the story of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 1897 from the perspective of the millions who joined in the festivities.
