First stop Port Fairy...An easy 3.5 hr drive in Larry with Judy in tow found us in the quaint village of Port Fairy. We both fell in love with the place when we first visited on our way home from a family trip to Adelaide last Year. A year later and it didn't dissapoint.
We were greeted by lovely staff at the Belfast Cove Holiday Park and enjoyed a 3 night stay. Port Fairy was a great starting point, a place to find our feet, a place to settle our nerves, and a place to ease ourselves into our new life.
We found a beautiful lighthouse on the stunning Griffith Island (pictured), followed by a stroll through the village and wharf. We found the one and only fish and chip shop in Port Fairy which for a Friday night was absolutely booming. If the teaching caper doesn't work out...we could always start some competition and open our own.
Port Fairy, a relaxed seaside village with a beautiful vibe.
Until we meet again...
