Ralph Hi Lee, great to meet up again with you and Bob in KTP, shame the park was a bit on the dry and dusty side
Ralph Hi Kay and Dave, good to hear from you and we trust you are enjoying Oz or California at the moment. Pity we didn't get the motorhome to Croatia, everyone says how nice it is! Happy significant birthday to Dave

Heike Evans What amazing photos !!!! Such a treat for us....thanks for sharing ! You two really are intrepid travellers ...at thise tempratures in the KTP....impressive ...and then such photos. Safe travels ...take care and survive the UK....I hear you have to be really intrepid to survive there.
re: Close lion encounterRalph Hi Bim and Linda, thanks for the comments, you guys are overdue an Africa re-visit. If you are planning something we can highly recommend Lagoon Camp in Botswana (Kwando Safaris). Better than Xigera.
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Ralph Hi Lee, thanks for the comments, good to see you both in KTP. The leopard amongst the wildebeest was a one off, one moment peace and tranquility, next moment total mayhem. Glad they are getting rain, we are having it here in Kasane, Chobe was a quagmire yesterday, huge puddles to negotiate!
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Bim and Linda Ralph and Angela, glad to hear your trip is going well with the usual adventures. The photos look great.
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Lee Grogan Great to hear from you and sorry to hear about the damage in your house back in the UK. Ugh. You can soon officially switch from Landy repairs to home repairs. Oh joy. So lovely to see you both in KTP this year. I have seen on Facebook where they are now getting some rain there. We didn't have a drop in 3 weeks. The leopard/wildebeest charge sounds totally thrilling. All the best....
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Ralph Hi Mike & Sue, been in the wilds of Botswana. Happy Easter to you, not many Easter eggs here but we did get hot cross buns in the Spar here in Kasane, Botswana. Hope all well with the house hunting?
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Jan & Terry Amazing photos, fantastic experience. Shame it's nearing it's close, but the good side is--------. No, there isn't a good side! See you at the airport - nearly 13C here at the moment. Wow!
re: Close lion encounterMike & Sue We were wondering what you were up to. Fantastic photos. Happy Easter and mind your chocolate doesn`t melt in the heat!!
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Ralph Hi David & Nadine, good to hear from you. We are now longing for the heat of Marakele after a miserable wet week here in northern Botswana!
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Ralph Hi Ann, thanks for compliment. In Kasane, next to Chobe Nat Park. 50,000 elephants have disappeared after 3 days of rains! Heavy rain all night and this morning, park is a 4x4 playground. Feels like Alaska!
re: Three Doors Good, Five Doors Better (Apologies to George Orwell)Ralph Hi Carol, many thanks, have been a bit short of WiFi access the last 3 months and semi retirement is proving a full time occupation! Returning to UK 15 April, tank leaked in roof so hall carpet, ceiling and walls damaged. Can't wait to start the DIY!!!
