Hi, Thank goodness we have a rest day tomorrow as I am tired after 4 days of walking. 500 m ascent I think but 1000m downhill to a nice Italian ski resort town Cormayeur. Most of the group are going up a Mt nearby by cable car to do what I did the other day in reverse. I will loaf about seeing the museum and church and shops. The hotel did our washing for free tonight! Only the 2 nd time in 5 months my clothes hit a machine instead of being handwashed!!! ...

Hi all, Well I have finished the 3 rd day if 11 walking around Mt Blanc from France to Italy to Switzerland and back to France. We are in Italy now! I came a day early and went into the nearby tourist town of Chaminox and up 2 long scary gondola car rides 1000m's up the Mt. Well back again after a couple of days traveling away. On Sunday I had a taxi trip at 5am to the airport then a flight to Madrid then one to Pamplona.I was then met as arranged by a shuttle service( no buses or trains on a Sunday) and taken back to France to get my bag. Hi, I reluctantly left my Paris Hotel, still feeling terrible, messed up my Metro stop ( with my heavy bags) finally got to the station. I miscalculated how busy it would be, half of Paris was there going away for Easter. No seating and the train platform is only announced 15 mins prior to departure so then mad rush for seats.
