After packing up and leaving Venice, we took a 3-hour bus ride to the Florence (or 'Firenze' in Italian).
We stopped by a park just before the city of Florence for lunch and prayers. Apparently to enter Florence, they charge €290 per bus so that we can be dropped at the parking lot! (included in our tour package).
At the main square, we saw a lot of Renaissance-era art and statues, including one supposedly of David (Nabi Daud AS). There's also a big cathedral by the name of Cathedrale de Santa Maria del Fiore (or commonly known as Duomo).
Apart from that, here's the place to buy high quality leather goods from the marketplace. It can get a little pricey though (especially since it's in Euro).
Of course, designer leather goods like Gucci, Guess, Chanel etc are also available here. I didn't feel like shopping leather goods here. Italian designer purses and handbags are still not quite affordable for me. Most of the people in the tour did buy leather goods though.
Weather's pretty hot like in Venice but it's not as bad and quite bearable because of the wind and many shady areas in between buildings.
At around 4.30pm we made our way to Rome. Reached our campsite, Camping Tiber and had a dinner of sup ayam and nasi putih.
Hung out with the rest of the campers outdoors while enjoying our wifi connection before going to sleep.
