Laura and Gareth you are so lucky. It sounds wonderful but very tough. Will you ever want to settle down after this. Hope your foot is much improved.

Love nan

I expect youve had enough of walking now.

Fantastic. And you didn't even mention that you only spent £300 on the whole trek - which I know will appeal to one or two of your readers.

take care.

Just had a phone call from Laura which was a lovely surprise. They had some reception in the town they were staying in so she rang me. (Ok, OK so my initial thoughts were "Oh No - no more broken limbs!"). Can't remember the name of the place but its at 2700m so no altitude problems yet. They are both fine but her foot is slowing them down a bit. Meeting lots of "interesting" characters - the two guys trekking the whole course in flip flops for example.

Lovely to hear from them though. And quite unexpected.

"Mums don't worry". Isn't that like saying "Don't breath".

Take care and rest assured I'll be checking the Foreign Office Travel Advice on a daily basis.

Hi guys, wow!!!

You're really getting to see a lot of India, eating home cooked Indian food on the roof and sleeping under the stars sounds fantastic.

I saw some pictures on the bbc website about the holi celebrations must have been great to be there. Very colourful, liked your description about the carebear massacre!

Not much to report here, I've put myself down for the Great North run and in training now. Did my first 10k in years a couple of weeks ago, was very pleased with my time of just over an hour until I saw the full results and out of the 206 people that took part I came 201st, ouch. Oh yeah and they classed me as a senior male!

Our new person started today and Adam has moved over, Rob is now sitting near Johns office.

We had a leaving COO do last week as Risk and comm.'s are moving out of COO, only six people went but we had a great time enough for everyone!

Keep the blogging up!
