Hey John, Loving the blog and that guy´s trike, looks like the transport`s even worse than over here!
Just finished the inca trail, relaxing now so it`s a good time to read your blog, the trail was amazing but quite tough, should have joined you and Jin on the stepper a few more times! :)

Hi guys,
Thanks for all the banter - will look brilliant when i print this out and bind it in a book! Quite a lot more entertaining than my blogs i would imagine.
Few things to settle, firstly M & D and family - thanks for the messages. Rachie: xxxxx Andy : hitchhiking as a man is the way to go - literally you will wait a max of 5 minutes before being picked up! in saying that, as a solo woman it is definitely NOT the way to go. heard a bad story about a canadian girl recently. also, yes matt is very very clumsy. almost as clumsy as he is fat. Jinnie - good luck with the challenging sums and thanks for your kind messages of support Waltnuts : thanks for your message too mate, please send through flat whites address and i will send them a lovely syrian postcard (one on way to you at work mate - dont worry) Matty J : stop being so clumsy and large Scooter: i agree : this blog is much funnier. luckily there are not too many posts from you.... yet...
Andy
Hey bud (and fellow subscribers),
Just been catching up with the travels, the photos and the enthusiastic words of support (especially Matt's keen observations of your rotund physique - size zero is out anyway chief so not to worry).
All sounds brilliant so far - those roman ruins look better than in Rome..Just wondering about all the hitchhiking you have been up to - is that fairly standard over there - don't suppose the public transport is that reliable - can you pick-up rides fairly quickly or are you left standing in the hot sun for hours at a time?
Had Matt & Joe round on Sunday - you didn't tell me that any glass within a 2 metre radius of Matt had a tendency to spontaneously shatter...No wonder you guys had a fair few plastic glasses...
Keep up the updates and looking forward to reading the next adventure - and the continual banter..

Bruv, am slightly worried
Before you left I warned you that the men over there love kiwis and to watch your back... but every second photo shows you cuddling up to a local... Walton and I are a bit disturbed...
Don't forget to try the Syrian lambs eggs, I can definately recommend them
And yep Ginny, I had to type this whole message out again as I got the sum wrong... dammit who said you don't need maths in the real world?!
EM
Wow...I'm very jealous. It all looks and sounds amazing. Looking forward to reading the blogs along the way....
I do agree with everyone though - stop being a sun hog - its pouring down here now!

Hello matazongo,
Loving the blog, Bill Bryson should be worried. You have a surprising number of friends contributing considering your personality. Best of luck mate. In case you were wondering Chris Walton is now fatter than ever before

There's no mention of you getting nude in any of these towns? Are you not following the Kiwi travelling tradition of getting your kit off? This seems odd. And don't give me that 'oh it's a Moslem country' line ... you're a Kiwi bloke. Don't let me down.
Oh my garden is booming - gettting ready for the first harvest! Hurry back so we can talk veges...

Tom is not well. Alas Toms affliction is self inflicted, he has a very bad case of Tomsalitis. Severely infected tomsils, multiple ulcers in the mouth and general unwellbeing. Antibiotics and bed rest. As the classic saying goes, and Matt will be familiar with this one, "I'm not feeling very well". This must be said in a quiet plaintive tone. (usually on a Sunday morning.) And the classic answer is, "You must have food poisoning". (JD will be familiar with this one).
