Another Mummy
I can't talk in code like other mummy's but never mind eh? Just sent your email address to cousin Tony in Adelaide, who may (or may not) get in touch, so don't be surprised. Still raining in Winchester - it was so heavy last night that I borrowed the Deanery brolly, which is huge and looked like a demented mary poppins dodging the puddles. It hailed and thundered, but I was dry. If we didn't have weather we would not have much to talk about. We had "wear it pink" day today for cancer awareness. I went on the bbc website and looked at family history, as you say, it is good - I got 100% for the test, which was encouraging. One day will really go for it and find out where those rich rellies are. Must go and get sorted for tomorrow. Hope the job hunting is going well, what are you going to do? I can imagine you both working in a cocktail bar chucking stuff to each other - sorry just had some of Dad's 30 year old hock out of the shed - hiccup! Mummy numero uno

Auntie Margaret
Hi Damian and Jane, glad to hear you are in the Land of Oz ! Welcome to our side of the worldl. I hear you are feeling the cold a bit after Thailand. That's to be expected, although Spring is the best time over here (it is for us oldies anyway !). You will find that Sydney gets very humid in Summer. You will find lots to do around Sydney. Which suburb are you in ? You will find a lot of poms around Bondi. I am off to see Heidi in Melbourne at the week-end. I managed to get a a cheap flight from Adelaide, so will be staying with her for a week. can't wait, as we are booked into a Polo Club for Melbourne Cup Lunch. You will see the whole of Australia stops for the Melbourne Cup horse race. Good excuse for a party. Hope to hear from you soon. Love Auntie Margie

Mater And Pater
Just been looking at your photos again. Very interesting - makes us feel as if we have been there too. Lovely to see you both. Thinking of you lots and missing you, but of course. It is raining buckets over here - want some? Karl and Bev are coming this evening for the weekend. It is Daniel's 1st birthday Sunday (Nigel & Leanne's youngest), so we are going to see them all tomorrow, whilst Bobby goes to Rugby in Bath. Have not heard anything from Linda yet - hope she is okay. Nick came in yesterday - our temp who has just done 6 months in New Zealand and Australia. He brought loads of books, cuddly toys, photos and goodies - so we had a good old chin wag. He recommends the train journey from Adelaide to Sydney for me and Bob. Takes 3 days though. He raved about Sydney - they absolutely loved it.
Bob had a cornish pastie at Harestock bakery yesterday, Damo - he says it was 'alright', which is praise indeed! Byeee - take care and stay cool in the heat. xxxx
