We left Darwin today, had a swim & lunch at Berry Springs then on to Litchfield.
Next day we headed for Wangi Falls which was good but a lot of people there then we decided to go to Surprise Creek which was about 30 km in on a rough 4WD track.
It was an interesting drive, very sandy & corrugated road with 4 creek crossings, one was quite deep with the water coming up over the bonnet. There was a lot of huge termite mounds on the way, the waterhole & falls at the end were worth the drive.
