Woke early because of the heat. The caravan park like many things in Croatia is a long way off the water due to the nature of the landscape which has very steep rocky land by the water. I wandered down 600m on a 17 degree slope. There were already some others down by the water. The water was super cool, super clear and refreshing and plenty of fish life. Rocks on the bottom of course.
We hung around the camp for most of the hot part of the day catching up on Internet and swimming before going back into town to catch the cable car up to the mountain over looking the city.
The views were sensational. An amazing part of the world. We watched the sun set over islands in the Adriatic and took lots of photos, including some of the old town after dark, before heading down for some dinner, drinks and to watch the game.
The Croatian coast is popular with Ukraine and Russian holiday makers and the number of stunning women getting around the city is difficult to imagine for a Melbourne guy - even a Port Melbourne guy!
For dinner I'd been recommended the octopus salad at Lokanda. I also had the small fried fish and a massive bottle of mineral water because of the heat of the city. The food was great.
Later, Hismail joined us and we had some cocktails. A liter of mohito, from memory, before heading to a less touristy area of town and a bar called Art Cafe which was nice and cruisey.
Not much else happened. Some drinking and a cab home as we had an early start to get Mel to the airport.
