Ahoy there
We had a bit of a lazy day today as the others went to have lunch with a family friend whilst us 3 went to see an old neighbor who moved to Shrewsbury.
We got there just before midday and had a lovely cup of tea. Connie works on a big outdoor learning/ campsite centre. After a bit of a chin wag we went into town for some lunch/ walk around. We went to a place called " hole in the wall" a quiet sort of pub. We all had a usual type of a pub meal but they also had curly chips like a pigs tail!
We went back through town and out to the centre for a tour about the place via a buggy and with Connie driving! It was an interesting ride to say the least but we got a great tour and that had some amazing activities. After meeting another Aussie who works at the centre ( Cowra) we headed for Ironbridge Gauge as pictured. It was the first ever built iron bridge in 1779.
Tonight we are at Bridgnorth where we met the others and we head south tomorrow. Weather code 03 fine and mild no rain!
