Ali and Chris take another trip into Leighton Buzzard while Paul finds more things to do on Mary*Lou.
We have egg and bacon sandwiches for lunch then service the van and set off around 14:30 bound for Harwich.
It's congested and ugly through Dunstable and Luton but from there the scenery improves as we go east. We reach the ferryport just as darkness falls and have plenty of time to cook supper before check in begins.
This is our first experience of Stena and when it comes to parking for easy access and arranging wheelchair assistance they don't seem to have a clue. We have only just enough room to use our own lift and we have to ask twice and wait ages for a chair to arrive.
On board things are better. The cabin is good and Stena Hollandica is a nice ship. The Filipino barman pours a good pint of Murphy's, which it should be at €5 a pint!
The clocks go forward as we set sail just before 23:00 and we turn in.
