Today, we went to the Statue of Liberty, and while we were in line, this man with a ukulele came unto us and started singing a song about Oklahoma. After the Statue of Liberty, we went to the Ellis Island, and the movie was very interesting but I wish that the actual artifacts were on on display. Then, we went to see the charging bull Sculptureand took pictures with a cop who gave us hand cuffs Sudenly, the cop ran off and the sirens started going if and we were wondering why and it turns out that it was because somebody was on top of the bull. Later, we wakesd down Wall Stret and head lunch at an amazing pizza place and went source but shopping and I was upset to discover that I bought a postcard for 60 cents when I could've bought ten for one dollar. After Wall Street, we went to trinity Church and saw the 9/11 Memorial. It reminded me of the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial since both had a survivor tree other trees that were symbolic to the memorial, and how a majo part of it was made of the same black rock. We later went to the museum which made me cry and what I remember the most were the pictures of the people jumping off the building. At the end off the day, we went to the top of the Empire State Building using the stairs and when we reached the top, the sun was setting and it looked so beautiful and it was so fun to be able to point out all the landmarks we went to.
