Ta Prohm, made famous by Tomb Raider, the one with spiralling, sprawling, magestic tree trunks, Ta Prohm was a sight not to be forgotten!
Without a doubt our best temple so far.
The trees grew over the walls of the temple sometimes splitting the trunks the cover both sides. This was a truly magnificent sight!
We took many photos including our shot with the ACTUAL place the film was filmed.
After a 2 and a half hour tour ,we went back to our hotel and had a rest in the pool after our tiring day at Angkor.
Next visit was to the Elephant ride! We were all very excited and so extremely disappointed when the rain started to pour in.
We started driving back in the tuk tuk but when the rain stopped we had to take our chance and go back!
The ride was worth it!!! We had a stunning view of Angkor Wat and despite the not brilliant weather we had a blast!
Watching the sunset now
