Went caving today. Visited Poole Cavern which was naturally formed and then drove t Matlock Bath and explored an old lead mine. LOTS of steps. Had a fantastic feed last night in the bar of the Buckingham Hotel where we're spending two nights. The place has received some dodgy reviews but it's been great so far. Started out wet this morning on Hadrian's wall but the further south we go, the sunnier it gets.

Well what a day we've had today. We arrived at Dundee yesterday afternnon. No fancy accommodations for us for the next two days, just a great bed and good tucker at a Premier Inn (motel chain). And cheap! After Ireland cheap is what's required. This morning we headed off to have a look at Barry Mill and/or Stanley Mill, both large working water mills. So here we are in Stranraer, Scotland. The Pom's stomping ground! Tonight's accommodation is Crosshaven www.crosshaven.co.uk We were greeted at the door by the lady of the house who was barefooted so she gets a big tick. Off to Glasgow tomorrow. Pete is coming down with whatever I have. The couple days in Dundee will be a good to regroup. The ferry trip was short, only 2.5 hrs. Next time we'd choose someone other than Stena Line. Yes lost. And more than once. Just to catch everyone up, we landed at Rosslare (Ireland) yesterday. The ferry journey was fantastic. We were on the "lah de dah" deck (so worth the extra 16 pound cost).
