Todays travels took us to Taunton, where Chris's dad was born. It's a fairly big place but not that much to write home about. Oh, it has it's own castle, Taunton Castle. Had a bit of a wander around and picked up a few touristy brochures. Pete is still trying to make friends everywhere he goes but we've decided he should stickto G'day Mate because they don't seem to understand howyagoin. He's been asked to repeat himself a couple of times and one guys wife gave him the evil eye.

Pete's driving skills have not been given the opportunity to "shine through" as yet. Stalling when taking off from the lights on roundabouts (omg Ben omg how right you were) and the inevitable winding through narrowed streets with cars straddling the road and footpath at the same time have not made for a calm and relaxing car.
After Taunton we went on to Dunster and of course, the castle was closed but we walked around the outside and it looks awesome. Again, more pics to follow but not until tomorrow... left the camera at Patsy and Adrians place. So yep, thats the next bit, We met the family tonight and then we have a day of Maidenhead history tomorrow. They're lovely, really lovely and Patsy is just Jenny all pver.
