Who is the master and who is the slave?
I'm completely Madonna'ed out. I went into Nelson with Anandi and Jamey, both great fans of Madonna so we let loose blaring Madonna's latest album. Anadi did so well to dance and drive at the same time, I think she was dancing more than drivingJ
She has pretty funny lyrics when you really listen in, "master or slave" is one of them. It kind of made me think whether we are the masters or slaves in our lives as well. I've been asking silly questions all day actually.
I finally met Oljai as well, I was hoping we would cross roads ever since I left London but had given up hope when I heard that he was in Australia as I arrived in New Zealand and yet he happened to stop by in Nelson anyway. How fun is it to meet new people, I haven't done that for weeks living in the small world of mine at Stillpoint?
I couldn't hide my excitement, we talked for long time, some things were deeper than others. To think that you meet someone new and be able to have such deeper conversations is weird but there was no judgement from either part. I'm still digesting some of the things he said to me, as he emphasised "I'm only telling you these because you need to hear them". Swami used to say the same thing "these aren't my words, they are coming from elsewhere, I'm just the vehicle in the process"
He is pretty humble…And just as we met we also departed with a simple kiss and goodbye, not knowing when we see each other again. I'm beginning to like these meetings, unexpected, just going with the flow.
