Adopt a tree, make your mother proud!
6.30pm
Hmm, everone is in a chaotic mood. All of a sudden there aren't enough days in the week, nor enough hours in the day. We all seem to be on a countdown as the teacher training ends next Friday and everyone goes separate ways. Time is simply flying by, even John Scott is amazed how quickly a 2hour session comes to an end.
He's been very patient and giving with us. It was only yesterday that he did 30 backbends and dropbacks, as well as 20 odd setu bandhasana! We're enjoying the practical sessions even more, now that we are familiar with each others' bodies, injuries and needs.
Anyway, we were thinking about a thank you gift for john and Lucy, and decided to buy them trees for the land. Most of us have flown in from long distances and this is the least we could do for the environment. So we headed into Motueka to buy trees, 20 of them! It was fun shopping for trees, I've never done that before. Even though I have had people planting trees as birthday gift to me I haven't actually seen them. Whereas these felt real, walking around the nursery, touching them, carrying them and hopefully planting them next week!
The funny thing is when we purchased them we were told that it will take approx 30 years for them to grow to a reasonable size…To think that I will be 61yr old then is pretty scaryJ
