Dead or aliveJ
ust had the last yoga session of the teacher training level 1. and I guess some people had to be sent off in style. It was an incredible practise, very vigorous and yet gentle and flowy. I never sweated so much, I MEAN I REMMEBER kovalam. THERE USED TO BE WATER DRIPPING ON TOP OF US FROM THE ROOF FROM HUMIDITY AND PERHAPS OUR SWAET EVOPARATING BUT THIS WAS ALL INTERNAL HEAT OF 10 BODIES PRACTISING, moving as one…I just wrote the last section without looking my screen…oops!
There is a man cleaning the windows, little does he know that we found 2 birds last week alone who tried to fly into our living room and hit the glass very hard. We still have yellow feathers from the last one!
Anyway, last week has been incredible. Pretty sad that 4 people are leaving tomorrow. We bonded very well but time to say goodbye. I feel sad but at the same time appreciate their time here and know that we all have to return home one day, and teach with the same passion as john!
My arms are too tired to type…I will continue some other time
It is now 6pm; it was very emotional when we chanted as a group half an hour ago to close the level 1 of the training. There has been some amazing friendships built and the group energy will surely change with the new arrivals. But just as life goes on I guess we'll just have to let those ones go so that we can meet again…
Tonight we are cooking for the whole group and got some serious deserts lines up. In fact it is possible that we will all go into cardiac arrest afterwards. We have 2 huge cheesecakes Lawrence made and 2 huge apple crumbles with icecream. If you think yoga retreats are ever dull and boring on food front think again! I put so much weight on in the last month eating every 2 hoursJ
