Mind f***ing stuff...

Not only are we getting to learn to teach yoga but actually learning the true essence of yoga. the philosophy is absolutely amazing, swami Nityamuktananda Saraswati is so knowledgeable (even though we know that knowledge is ignorance). Only today she introduced us to the layers of the mind and pure consciousness...and cosmic mind. Once again its an absolute realisation that we are all connected. She's given the basic example of drinking a cup of tea and when you think about what is involved to get that tea to you from the nature, to the families producing it, picking it, packing it, getting it shipped...i mean it is a basic example of how without one there can be none! We are in absolute awe by swami's way of explaining things and simplifying it to such digestible chunks. And yet it is all that we have known and currently know, even if we're not aware of it.

We ask so many questions to swami that she's decided to do an extra session on sunday to answer all our questions. I've asked for a short private session tomorrow as I have some personal things I want to ask her.

Hmm, loving it here! I cant believe that it is only day 2 and I have learnt so much from John (who was on his top form today anyway), and having swami here is real indulgence.
