Love or Fear
"What we fear is not what we cannot achieve but what we truly are capable of achieving, how much power we have"
Scott arrived yesterday from UK which has been the highlight of my time in NZ. We met at that amazing John Scott workshop last January in London that changed our world, that workshop that we were all probed, challenged, planted seeds in and as a result manifested certain things.
He's from Kent; married with adorable 3 kids and infact one of the first things he did was to show us their photos. I believe that every person we cross roads with, every situation, everything that comes to us is there for a reason, even if it's not a pleasant experience.
I meditated this morning with Lawrence and his girlfriend Christine. It was a sunny but very cold day as the snows hit the top of the mountains the night before. As I returned from my meditation, a little spaced out and for some reason a little confused Scott shoved a book to me to read a passage from, a book called "the only way out is in". And the passage was about love and it was exactly what I needed to read.
After breakfast I went to visit my tree and took Scott's book with me. I sat by the root of my tree, leaning against it and putting my whole body weight to its trunk. I watched the fields for some time; the sun was warm on my skin, rain blowing my hair against my face. I read the passage out loud, contemplated on it and I read more of the book. I had a good cry; a release of tension from that realisation came upon me. I felt the love in my bones, I felt the energy in my heart and I felt so connected to all things around me.
As I was heading back to find Scott to talk to him I saw Lawrence coming towards me. We wanted to put my Tibetan prayer flags on the tree for some time but the old owners of the land had left a roll of barbwire around the tree that Lucy wanted us to remove first. So Lawrence was coming to help me with that, he felt that I was a little sad this morning and knew he'd find me by the tree. We sat and talked for a while, I read him the same passage and we talked more.
Then it was yet another fun day in the garden, moving rocks with Lawrence and Scott, putting up the prayer flags (the boys were like monkeys on that tree), driving into town for some shopping…
And as I opened my eyes from my meditation in the yoga studio and saw a shooting star I just had to thank the universe for all the love, life and joy it's giving me. I will continue to expand!
So tomorrow we practise with John, Lucy, Lawrance, Malin, Mike, Arial, Scott just as a fun practise before the arrival of 4 more people onto the course that is about to begin on monday. There will great energy in that room and we are all ready for some hard work.
