8am- I hear voices

Oh no need to get worried, I like catchy titles that's all. I just did a very short practise at Bart and Mandy's small yoga room downstairs by their garage. I was curious to see how my first yoga practise would be away from Stillpoint. John Scott had given us his final advice as " when you're in doubt simply step back and ask "what would John say or what would John do in this situation?" and hear our voices, mine, Swami's, David's and Lucy's as I still hear my Guruji's voice"…Well, I didn't think I would be hearing so many voices. I felt John and Lucy's presence around me. Lucy giving his firm instructions "lengthen here Oz, lift your leg, relax those shoulders" and John Scott simply counting in his whisper voice and moving around me and adjusting me. Then it didn't stop there either, as I continued practising I heard Jamey counting, Anandi counting, Juan counting…It's amazing to feel their presence, and just my own breath still carrying me on in my practise.

Port Macquarie- Some great updates so far though- My god I'm in a seven star mansion like house…I was collected by Denis (my friend I've known for 3 years from Kovalam) and her two lovely students Bart and Mandy whom I also met for the first time in Kovalam this year. We quickly whizzed back to Juan's (Denis's boyfriend) birthday get together for a dessert and coffee. Already I met some great people, sitting around a big table, laughing, talking…something I haven't done for a while…Meeting new people.

Anyhow Denis reckoned I could stay at Mandy and Bart's as they have much more space and their house is warmer. Well, I was taken back when we arrived, what an enormous beautiful penthouse. Shiny marble floors, part brick walls, lots and lots of space, art collections on the walls from all over the world, tonnes of interesting books to read…I'm still pretty overwhelmed by this place…oh and how could I miss the great views of the town! It just shows how important someone's home/living environment is with the energy it creates.

We're heading to Denis's smaller mansion soon for breakfast. Apparently she has 4 new kittens…So I'm looking forward to that!
