Alone again!

Judith left at lunch time, it was so weird saying goodbye to her. The past 3 weeks went by so fast and as much as we had great time I'm still very sad to wave her goodbye in her taxi...

So I'm alone again, but coping well. I'm getting more and more used to the idea of being alone during my travels. People keep coming and going, and its good to know that i will be seeing some again, some unknown...

I will be heading for the Nepal borader tonight, so in fact I also leave Varanasi for a few days. I feel a little nervous as the journey starts with a night train and then various buses but I'm bound to meet other westerners doing the same. It just gets overwhelming on your senses as you have to watch out for everything rather than having the comfort of 2 or more people...But it'll be fun either way, traveling with the locals, getting stared at, asked a million times which country i'm from, being asked for school pens! Its part of India...

Anyhow, I will either be writing about Lumbini, the birth place of the Budha in Nepal which is close to the boarder...or I will take the first bus back to Varanasi if I have had enough by then!
