Travelling with Mum and Rahman

I've lost all perspective, all opinions, all defenses in life since travelling with mum and Rahman. I now realise how good of a mother I will be one day as I do the caring role pretty good. I'm so glad that I had arranged for our tour before hand as well, I know exactly where to stay, where to see, what to eat. Because it makes it just as enjoyable to travel with them when I dont have to think too much about the practical side of things.

Its also pretty funny. Our schedule is so much more different, priority is getting enough activity and rest at the same time. I play s***head and Yaniv cardgames with my brother, watch movies on the laptop, chatter with mum more than paying attention to whats around us.

Mum is also hilarious. When she took out her travel rope in the hotel in Mumbai I was in stiches from laughing, such a practical woman. It was to hang our washing in the room. Its been so handy! I have to take a photo of our hotel rooms for her before the washing line is stretched across with our knickers on:))

She's also so much into nature that I cannot keep up with her. She looks at every plant, every tree, every pot available; ponders around in markets looking at people's stalls, ask them how to cook things. Every food she eats she analyses whats inside, she drools over street food that we dont dare touch!

Rahman on the other hand wonders in style, never seen such a clean traveller in his latest Nike gear, well equipt with his Playstation, MP3, phone and other gadgets...He is pretty caring with street kids though, ofen shares some of his food with them. I really dont know what he will make of India by the time he returns. He tends to day "this is so much better than Turkey" but is it really? Thats a debatable one that he doesnt realise yet.

So we,re in Udaipur. Its so much cooler here now as there is a bit of rain in the afternoons so we'll probbaly head to Jaisalmer and Pushkar after. Goa seems to be the destination both mum and Rahman are ver excited about as we'll stay put for 5 nights and rest by the beach.

Until the end of the trip I just be, hang out and have fun. Glad I did travel this part with Judith beforehand to explore it properly though:)
