Landing is just as bad as take-off. I had a headache when the plane landed as well. I can't believe that I am actually in Scotland. This is so crazy. When we landed, some lady from the college came to pick us up from the airport. She gave us a goodie bag with all kinds of information in it. She also gave us our bus passes, so we could ride the bus if we wanted to. We got back to the hotel and found out that we couldn't check in until 2:30 in the afternoon. While we were waiting, we walked the Royal Mile and saw Edinburgh Castle. The castle was sooooo beautiful. We're going to take a tour of it tomorrow. Then, we saw the palace where the royal family lives. It looks like they have a lot of money. Man, they can share some with me. While we were waiting, we stopped and had lunch at the Filling Station. When 2:30 came, we checked into the hotel, and Deanna and I hung out in the hotel until 4:00 in the afternoon. Then, we went down to the hotel lobby to meet Heather Sutherland. We met with her for an hour, and then, we went on our own. Deanna and I went to all the shops and looked around. I did buy a sweatshirt and shotglasses for my mom. Deanna bought some stuff too. After we got done shopping, we walked around some more and ended up getting lost. We had to ask two guys for directions back to the Royal Mile. We finally got back to the hotel. Then, we took a shower and went to bed.
