Up at 0700 am and breakfast in lobby at 8am. Gassed-up and away we went on backroads to Weston to the Trans-Alleghany Lunatic Asylum. We arrived just before noon, and decide to grab lunch first and take the 1pm tour. We walked across the bridge over a little river to Kathy's Riverside. Slept in until after 7am. Headed to the original Bob Evans restaurant at homestead and ranch in Rio Grande, Ohio. I had a problem with the bike - all the electrical went out in the front, so while we were waiting for our food, I went out and took my seat off to see if anything looked out of place, and it did, so apparently I fixed it since I didn't have any problems the rest of the day! After two very strong drinks in the Holiday Inn bar last night, I slept like a baby. Woke up to dark and dreary. The weather forecast was deflating to say the least. Hung around the hotel for a while... Waited for the rain to stop, which it didn't, so we took of in the rain at noon to head north. Only made it to Parkersburg, West Virginia! Left Waynesville, North Carolina around 10am, after a nice breakfast at Cafe 50 in downtown Waynesville. Headed to Asheville, then north.
