Kathy and I are heading into town on the shuttle, then using the local bus all-day pass to look around.

LONG walk off the ship to a shuttle bus which took us into Barcelona. We got off too early though. Went to the metro and bought a T10 ticket for E9.95. It is good on the metro, buses, and trams. Got on the metro going the wrong way, but only for two stops. Made it to the Plaza of Catalunya, but no shops were open, so we decided to pay E28 for the city tour on the double-decker bus. Nice tour. We got off at stop #14 to have some pizza for lunch in a nice little cafe.

Finished the tour and went a couple of extra stops to get off near the waterfront. We had seen a gondola that went over the bay, but we couldn't figure out how to get to it! My foot was killing me, so we walked back to where we were supposed to catch the shuttle back to the boat.

Since it was Sunday, a lot of things were closed, to our dismay.

Today was disembarkation day for some passengers, and we picked up a lot of new folks in Barcelona. Ship is full capacity now. I tried to take a nap, since I haven't been sleeping well, but theydid a ship-wide safety drill...with announcements every few minutes over the ship's loudspeakers and in the cabins.

Saw "THE FINE" show onboard in the aqua theater - interesting show with high divers tightrope walkers, and a very mesmerizing twirling dude.

Tomorrow, we are off to Palma de Mallorca, I am so excited!
