Up early and on the road at 0645 hours from Tazewell in a fog. Off we go again on Rt 16N, lots of twisties.

Rode until about 0930 hours on nice road, not too strenuous. Ate an early lunch at I-79 and Rt 16 intersection.

Off again on Rt 16N. More twisties! Don and Susanne are used to riding all day on those roads; I am not.....may arms feel like they are going to fall off. So, I started slowing down. I would eventually catch up to them anyway every 30 miles or so. Really neat small towns on the Coal Heritage Highway (RT 16). Lots of gravel in the corners too.....

I had to stop to take a break when we got close to Marietta, Ohio. Susanne was taking off for home about 25 miles down the road, so we pushed on. I asked Don is he would be willing to stop with me for a bite to eat around 1600 hours, and because I was exhausted.

We ate a Lori's Cafe in Caldwell, Ohio. Very good! But, the best part is there is a Best Western behind it. I decided to spend the night and push the remaining 150 miles home in the morning.
Really nice hotel room. Nice hot shower, nice bed. So, I am resting and chilling the rest of the night.

Saw some turtles on the roads today. Good thing we didn't run them over!
