I was up at 0530 and on the road by 0700 in Bennington, Vermont. Beautiful morning, albeit a bit chilly at 44 degrees! All bundled up and enjoyed the twists and turns on the way into Troy, New York.

Hit a bit of fog along the way whilst traveling next to the river. But, it was a beautiful ride.

Lots and lots of traffic and construction starting in Rochester, NY and continuing all the way into Eastern Ohio! I sat baking on the highway somewhere in NY for about an hour. I think the folks around me were a bit surprised when I started stripping clothes off!

Got home at 1649 hours, that's 4:49 pm to you non-military folks. LONG day in the saddle, but I put the pedal to the metal and seriously exceeding the speed limit most of the way!

539.5 miles today, and my butt feels every one of them.

TOTAL TRIP MILEAGE 5,831.3, doorstep to doorstep.

I am VERY proud that I rode all the way back from Stephenville, Newfoundland by myself. I had a few very hairy moments, but I SURVIVED!

I would LOVE to go back to Newfoundland. It's a beautiful island, and the people are wonderfully friendly.
