The 2010 Harley-Davidson Road Glide in matt-black (yuck! but it is just my RENTAL). The Lake Erie Harley Shop in Avon, Ohio is setting the bike up for me with detachable lower leg guards, higher windshield, detachable tourpack - those guys are awesome! Stop in and say hello to Brian in Rentals, and Bill the General Manager, also Jeremy in Service who is "breaking" the bike in for me before the trip! Thanks Jeremy!
Have a meeting with Larry and Don this coming Saturday and we're going to take a little ride together, and go to lunch and finalize all the remaining details.
This trip is going to cost me a lot more of the green stuff since my "roomie" Geoff backed-out of the trip, and didn't really leave me enough time to find a replacement. SO, this tough little chickie is packing a pup tent and sleeping bag in the hopes of maybe saving a few dollars along the way. Let's face it, I'm too old to sell my body, so camping it is!
My spare bedroom looks like a bomb hit it - I've got most of my items for the trip laid out like a pharoah taking all his belongings into the afterlife! Thankful for the extra tourpack on the bike, and my ever-wonderful Kuyrakan Grand Tourpak. After all, I am a GIRL, and need all the requisite acoutrements!
Can you tell I am excited??

ronvansickle Funny thing, my partner backed out as well. Shift of plans, headed to Hobart, IN for nieces graduation, taking RTE 66 to OKY City, down to Austin to pick up my son, then heading north 9 July.
Sandi Valois Yeah well, some people's children, as they say! I hate having to rely on other folks, especially for a big trip such as this. But, there's always someone throwing a cog in the wheels!Safe trip!
