Heat stroke kinda day up here- whooda thunk it? 91 and NO breeze, except on the very fun roads!
Up at 6a and off to a hearty breakfast, then riding thru the fog for a bit. Scenery reminds me a lot of Denali park and parts of Alaska. Very green, lots of views of the lakes (Huron and Superior).
Stopped at a neat little waterfall-Sable Falls.
Also stopped at Overlook Miner's Castle, gorgeous water! Looked like a picture postcard.
Stopped at a Log Slide; the guys went to look at it, but I didn't. That's where they take cut logs to the top of a hill and slide them into the lake, where they are rounded up.
Had lunch at a bar in Christmas, Michigan, then back on the road for 200 long steamy miles to Ironwood. Lots of bikers on the roads here; very fun riding!
Nice dinner at a local steakhouse. I am in bed with an ice pack on my knee. Just aggravated an old injury :(
Sorry, no pics on here, I can't upload them from my iPad onto this blog.
Up before 6am on the 6th. Nice sunny day, at least for now. Big front on the way!
More tonight from Canada!

Tonie Fraser Ride safe!
JIm Sandi, I saw your comment about not being able to upload photos via your iPad to Travelpod so I googled it and came up with this workaround from a tech at Travelpod - Jim ------------------- "At this time we don't have a standalone app for the iphone, but it's something we're planing to tackle soon. For now, you can use our Mobile Blogging feature. From your Dashboard, click on Blog Settings and then towards the bottom "Mobile Blogging".This will allow you to use the email client on your phone to post an entry and pictures."
