Quick quick lets get to Empire early no time for breakfast lets go and line up again. This time we had our tickets and just had to get through security not long and we were on our way in the elevator up to the 86th floor. Eep it was high and a good view. But the Top of the Rock was the better stop. It had a great view of Central Park but it also had an eye level view of the Empire State which is much better looking at than from I think. Also the rock had much more room for people & less steel railings to block the view. We did the Rockefeller plaza walking tour and were quite surprised how much history the building holds and we learnt a lot about the city just from that tour. We walked around with headphones while the tour guide had a little microphone. Gee we must have looked silly but it was well worth it. We got to see where they shoot the U.S Today show which mike is always watching in the mornings back home.
After the tour exhaustion of our trip was catching up with us and my feet could not walk any further. We had some lunch and went back to the room for an afternoon snooze & a quiet evening.
