Well what a city Singapore is!!!It is like a very modern London with everything that works on time and properly! We had no hotel on arrival and so approached the reservations desk and told that our 50 dollars per night budget wouldnt get us far, anyway we took what they could give us which sounded nice because the man said it was full of solicitors. When we arrived there was a large amount of ladies hanging around and it was only then that it clicked the man had meant that there was many women who solicit themselves in the area. For those uneducated (Sherwin) these woman were prostitutes. Anyway we decided 1 night couldnt be bad so we explored Little India, had a meal and went to bed only to be interupted by men literally coming and going.
We found ourselves a nicer hostel ans spent the next two days exploring everything including Santosa Island, the Carlsberg tower, China Town, some night safari and the famous Raffles hotel. Singapore is such a modern thriving city that as i write this at the airport about to go to Sydney, i am knackered from looking around about three hundred and twenty million shopping malls. I really would reccomend it to visit and at xmas too and the city makes a massive effort to go xmassy!!Even importing snow and stuff!!!!!! It is so clean and safe too and if you caught eating or dealing chewing gum you can get caned, though as hard as i tried i couldnt get caught as i fancied a good caning.
Anyway gotta go look for a lead so i can upload my pics on this journal and then board!!!
Hope all is well, much love to u all x x x x
