Monday 24th October
I wondered off to find the Peak Tram today, up to the highest point over Hong Kong, giving spectacular 360 degree veiws lol
The tram was very steep at points, but the views where good, got a few good pics, had a wonder around, sent a postcard home from the post office up there then made my way back down, I didnt go to the madame taussards up there.
i then went to the botanic and zoological gardens. It was hot, and there was a lot of steps and gradiant!! found a refreshment kiosk in the middle that sold fish balls... i opted for sausage and ham noodle soup for dinner, it was exactly how it was described, noodles in soup with a sausage and a piece of ham on top. It was nice though, I ate with chopsticks again :)
made my way back up the hill to where Im staying.
Tuesday 25th October
Felt brave enough to go and find the bus to Stanley...I got lost and couldnt find the bus stop, found bus stops for every bus except the number 6, the one i wanted. i eventually stumbled accross the bus station and got the number 66 to Stanley Plaza, easy enough.
There was alot of building work going on in Stanley, think it will be alot better when its finished. It was quite overcast today but still warm. i had a walk around, found a bit of beach and sat there for a bit, although noone else was around. Walked around the market for a bit, which was busy with tourists.
i decided on Mcdonalds for lunch, and was happy that sauage and egg mcmuffin was on the menu it was 12. I got one with chips and a latte
then made my was back to the bus stop and got the 6X back to Hong Kong Central.
Just been ambling about aimlessly, went to H&m then went to pub for a pint. Not sure if im up to anything tonight yet. the museums are supposedly free on a Wednesday so i'll be going to them tomorrow.
