Finally made it to Bangkok after a 12 hour bus journey and a very interesting taxi trip! Will never moan about London taxi drivers again because although they talk a lot of crap at least they know where they are going! My driver did not only not know where he was going but he didn't speak any english and didn't have his glasses on so couldn't read the map I was showing him! O well i made it here eventually and was consequently very relieved to arrive at my hostel to be greeted by David and Stephen. It is currently chucking it down with rain boo hoo! Will stay here a few days until I can get my Vietnam visa - I think that will be plenty enough as already there is not much to like here.
