Arrived in Adelaide finally...yey! Words can't describe how nice it is to be near civilisation for the first time in nearly a week! Had some pretty interesting shall we say, stops on the way, especially our unferground hostel in Coober Pedy (where you can buy explosives from the supermarket with your bread and milk, fall down a mine shaft or go missing in the desert, never to be seen again. Great!). Are so far out in the deset so have seen lots of interesting wildlife (and roadkill!!), including kangaroos, sheep, dingos, Blue Tongue and Thorny - not horny he he! - Devil lizards). Have visited a few wineries today in the Clare Valley in preparation for our Barossa Valley wine tour tomorrow...all in the name of research you understand! Off to bed soon (after our free apple pie & ice cream of course!)...spent so long in swags that duvets seem like a luxury! Night night xx
