O my God guys I so wish you were all here with me to experience two of the best days ever!!! Yesterday finally got to do the Tongariro Crossing (Accross Mordor) and it was so worth the wait. The scenery was too stunning for words - went from volcanic rocks, across snow, down the other side of the volcano and into rainforest!!! It was amazing - didn't see any Orks thankfully but did have lunch on the summit of Mt Doom and had a snowball fight too! The hardes...

O My God - I love this place! On arrival to Rotorua there is one thing very noticeable...It Stinks! It is set on one of the worlds most active geothermal areas and hence sulpur is everywhere. However, once you get used to the smell the place is great. The hostel i am in, Hot Rocks, is really nice - well located being right next to a beautiful thermal park and has 3 heated mineral pools and one swimming pool too! Today i made my way from Auckland to Raglan via Hamilton. The hostel is truly fantastic!! It is set in the rainforest on the side of a mountain with a Flying Fox zip wire, Ropes, table tennis, basket ball hoops and.....a sauna!! After playing around (ie. having many many gos on the zip wire and screaming like a little girl!) for a bit we all ate dinner together in the communal kitchen and decided that after sitting on a bus for hours a walk was needed.
