Hello! What a great few days.... Left Hokitika and headed for the Fox Glacier. Had a walk upto the glacier but the weather has taken a sudden turn and so there's not actually much to do so decided to head on. Managed to hitch from Fox Glacier (pictured) all the way through Haast and into Wanaka with a really nice couple called Vernie and Shaun. They even brought us all the way to our accommodation. Thankfully we wern't waiting on the road too long otherwise we would have got soaked! Wanaka is nice but the weather is still horrible and so many walks are too dangerous and no helicopters are flying so we'll probably head onto Queenstown soon. Met up with John, Christian and Paul again which is great fun as its nice to see what everyone has been up to. Went to the cinema here - Paradiso - which was quite an experience. All seats are comfortable sofas (with the exception being the convertible car you can sit in!) and there are freshly baked cookies for half time. If you order food at teh beggining of the movie then it is ready for you at half time too! Really chilled out way to spend an evening - lots of fun. Looking forward to Queenstown - heading there today. Having trouble booking accommodation now as Queenstown is really busy and we are now getting into the peak season so gonna have to start planning a bit more now. Bummer - i like not planning anything and just stopping where we end up! Sweet!
