Hello! Well i've had a good day today. Started out with pure luxury as was able to have first hot shower in a week and managed to wash AND dry all my clothes too!! Well chuffed. Took a trip to Davenport which is a little island off Auckland Harbour and walked up Mt Victoria. Visited the Kelly Tarlton's under water world and even went up the Sky tower. Thats the big thing in this picture - its the highest building in the Southern Hempisphere. Not quite sure what propelled me as everyone who knows me knows how much i bloody hate lifts but hey there you go - thats what travelling does to you. It makes you try things you wouldn't normally. My legs were a bit wobbly but afterwards i was so proud of myslef as managed to keep my cool. Even stopped to have a long tall latte (my new favourite delicacy which is gradually replacing my want for chocolate!!!) and a bag of sheep droppings (chocolate coloured raisins that is x) Not keen on Auckland - not really a city girl, so am heading to Northland, Bay of Islands tomorrow where I am meeting a few people who i shared a room with in Raro.
